Cardio-Tribal Belly Dance
CTS Volume 3
The Cardio Tribal Style, Volume 3 workout can be done by any fitness level. As with any fitness program, check with your health and medical advisors before doing it. You are fully responsible for your well-being while following this program. If a movement hurts anything in your body, don’t do it. Pain is not any part of the CTS format.
If you’re just starting, focus on moving your feet and the timing. The moves all repeat and should feel natural. And they build on each other, so we suggest you do them in order. As you become more comfortable with the workout, put more attention to dance and technique.
CTS Volume 2
Cardio Tribal Belly Dance, Volume 2 uses belly dance style steps to world fusion music in combinations that give you a low-impact cardiovascular workout. The dance combinations and music reflect an eclectic ethnic mix – Latin, Funk, Jazz, Tribal and old-school rhythms.
There are 8 CTS Core combos on this video. Troupe Mélangées members warm up with sinuous combos like the sexy walk, mayan arms, locomotion, and mesmera’s undulation – and then pick up a Latin flavor fusing belly dance with salsa1, flamenco, the cha cha turkish shimmy, and Gloria’s spin.
CTS Volume 1
Cardio-Tribal Belly Dance, Volume 1 is a low-impact workout that uses easy belly dance moves with repeated steps that gradually increase your heart rate and keep it at a healthy level throughout the workout.
This video features multicultural working women who dance / exercise for fun. While you’ll learn lots of belly dance steps – such as camels, Mayas, turns, shimmies, hip sways, snake arms, and layering – it will be an easier workout than on most instructional DVD’s done by professional dancers. The dances are demonstrated by hobby dancers at various skill levels.
